Nature Walk The pupils went for an interesting walk up the rocky road and learned about the plants growing in the hedgerows. They gathered samples of sycamore, hawthorn, ivy leaves, crab apples and looked at the blackberries growing on briars. They examined nettles but left them growing on the hedges.

The pupils harvested lots of vegetables, kale, potatoes and scallions from the school garden. There was great excitement to find that the potatoes grew under the ground and that there were lots of creepy caterpillars moving on the kale.
