This years concert was based on the theme – Rhythm – paying particular attention to the percussion instruments in the orchestra. The pupils enjoyed the concert thoroughly and sang along to the popular songs ‘Two Little Birds’, ‘Don’t worry be Happy’ and ‘We are the Champions’.
During the week pupils enjoyed experiencing many science experiments in forces- pull and push, looking at buoyancy- sink or float and the travel of sound along a piece of twine. they were amazed to find out that this experiment lead the way to the invention of the first telephone.
Our pupils were very excited and delighted to take part in the annual shoe box appeal. They put much thought into the presents to be included in the boxes. These shoe boxes will be delivered to some of the worlds most vulnerable children and for many it will be the first gift they will receive. […]
