Pictures from the Green Schools Award ceremony in Kilkenny where Cullen School received their second Green Flag for Energy management. The pupils practised the spiritual songs and listened to the classical pieces of music in the weeks before the concert. The pupils enjoyed the concert enormously and sang along with Michael Jackson’s song –Blame it on the Boogie. They accompanied Keith Hanley(Voice of Ireland winner) with great gusto during his performance.

The pupils wrote a project on Litter Awareness and Tidiness and appreciation of the environment in Cullen National School and its surrounding area. An environmental officer visited the school and surveyed the grounds for tidiness and litter. The school was awarded a certificate for Tidy School and presented with a cheque for €350.00.
