This year the junior pupils visited Mitchelstown caves where the guide told them about the history of the caves. The saw the beautiful stalactites and stalagmites, which formed many different shapes – pink bacon, curtains, eagle, dragon and even a woman in a coffin!!! We then visited Swiss Cottage, where the pupils admired the beautiful building and enjoyed their picnic. Then it was time to visit the playground in Cahir. There the children had great fun on the swings, zip wire, climbing rope wall and climbing castle. The children thoroughly enjoyed their school tour.
