The pupils went for an interesting walk on school grounds, outside the school and up the Rocky road. They learned about the plants growing in the hedgerows. They gathered samples of sycamore, hawthorn, ivy leaves, crab apples and looked at blackberries growing on briars. they examined nettles but decided to leave them growing on the hedges. They learned about two breeds of cattle munching in a field, toadstools and a handsome horse grazing in a nearby field.
