Visit of Fire Brigade Officers

As Halloween is approaching a Fire safety talk was given to pupils by local Fire Brigade officers on Monday 21st  October.  They spoke about the dangers of fire – too close to a fire at any time especially Halloween bonfires, lighting matches, ‘escape plan’ if there is a fire at home – assembly point for household.  Fire safety plan for school and the need for assembly point and roll call.  The pupils learned important information on the many hazards and now have a good understanding for the need for fire safety at all times.
