There were lots of fun activities in the Junior room last week as it was Science Week. The pupils made cloud dough and made rice jump while investigating how sound is made. During our ‘Rainbow ‘ experiment, we found out how much sugar is in Skittles! It was great fun for everyone. e.

On 25th August our school reopened. Teachers and staff were very happy to welcome back our students. Pancake Tuesday had finally arrived and all our pupils were very excited waiting for their special treats. A very enjoyable feast was enjoyed by all the pupils. They ate with relish the pancakes served with ice cream and chocolate sauce. There were no refusals to this tasty dessert! I wonder why??
Two teams represented the school in the annual Credit Union Quiz in Ballykisteen on Monday 3rd February. The girls and boys enjoyed the night out and the experience of taking part in a quiz with there classmates and pupils from the surrounding areas. Well done to all our pupils.
Grandparents were invited to the school to celebrate Grandparents Day on Friday 31st January.
